Cooperation between Elektrorakenne and HiavaNet+ underway.
Elektrorakenne and Hiava have worked on several joint projects over the years related to supply chain processes and systems. Now the cooperation gets a new addition when Elektrorakenne takes over the HiavaNet+ service for ordering transport. The service will provide Elektrorakente with a single channel to transmit transport orders to all the transport companies it uses.
The interface for transport ordering will start with the use of the portal, where reporting and tracking will also be integrated. In the future, the automation of transport ordering will also be moved to when Elektrorakente’s ERP system is integrated with HiavaNet+.
“We changed our ERP system at the turn of the year and wanted to centralise transport orders in one place. Teemu told me that they were developing such a native service and I certainly wanted to be part of it. It’s always easier to deal with domestic operators, if only for the customer service. Any development issues can also be brought to the finish line quickly.” – says Pekka Pennanen, Sales Director at Elektrorakente, about the HiavaNet+ cooperation.
Transport ordering and logistics data are rarely at the heart of business for industrial customers. HiavaNet+ serves their customers in this need, allowing Elektrorakenne to focus on their core activities and trust that logistics will be handled as smoothly as possible.
